Employment Opportunity with the Hawai‘i Data Collaborative: CHANGE Research Specialist

HCF CHANGE Initiative

In this position, you will be supporting a partnership between Hawai‘i Data Collaborative (HDC) and the Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF) to compile existing data sources and develop new data sources relevant to the CHANGE Framework:

The CHANGE Framework identifies six essential sectors, or areas, that affect the overall well-being of these islands and people. Sustainable data points tell the story of what is happening within each area.

HCF has made robust data, analysis and reporting a fundamental component of the CHANGE initiative. In addition to developing data sources, responsibilities in this role will include ongoing development of the CHANGE data framework, leading CHANGE data projects, liaising between HDC and the HCF CHANGE team, working with partner organizations to support the data components of CHANGE collaborations, supporting CHANGE grant recipients’ data collection and reporting requirements, and other activities as needed to ensure the CHANGE initiative is able to achieve its data-relevant objectives.

This position is full-time with a competitive salary, generous health, retirement and paid time-off benefits, and reasonable work-life balance expectations.

Interested candidates should submit their resume, cover letter, and references to Nick Redding (nredding@hawaiidata.org) by Friday June 18, 2021.
